1 cup fresh dates (or rehydrated and drained dried dates)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup saltanas
1/2 cup mixed nuts
2 tbsp flaxseeds
2 tbsp raw cacao powder (can sub regular cocoa powder just wont be as intense)
1 cup dried coconut
Very simple, just pulse everything appart from the coconut in a food processor it starts to come together like a dough, transfer to a bowl and knead in the coconut with your hands until well combined. Line a 9″x9″ dish with greaseproof paper and press th mix evenly into the bottom. Dip your fingers in a little water and press down over the top to smooth out. leave to set for a little while then slice up and wrap the idividual slices in greasproof and store in an airtight container.
