Healthy Banana Granola

Ingredients:

2 barely ripe bananas

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup maple syrup

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

a pinch of salt 

3-4 cups of oats and seeds 

1/4 cup chair seeds

1/4 cup chopped almonds

Method

Preheat oven to 200 degrees (180 fan forced). Put the bananas in the oven and let roast until the peel had gone brown. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before peeling and placing into mixer. Bland bananas with coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt until ti comes together. Add three cups  of oats and mix (with a spoon/ spatula) until oats are covered. Toss in chai seeds and almonds and keep adding more oats until granola forms ‘clumps’. scrape out into a covered baking tray and put in oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes, then remove, flip and replace until golden brown. let it cool before storing in an air tight container.
