1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup cacao or cocoa (depending if you want it bitter like dark choccie or more sweeter)
1 cup dates
Handful of chopped walnuts
Processor walnuts and almonds until they are ground up nice or until they are nearly at nut meal consistency. Add in the cacao powder and blitz until well combined. Add in your dates a couple at a time until mixture has started to stick together. If its a little bit dry add an extra couple of dates. Press mixture firmly into a lined tined. With the additional chopped walnuts press them on top of the brownie mixture.. Place in the fridge for 3-4 hours or if your like me and can’t wait that long to try chuck it in the freezer for at least an hour and a half!
